Help to Design and Develop Web Documents
Location: Middletown, NJ and/or Sunrise, FL

Design and development of WEB based tools and standards creation for the implementation of HTML documents, Javascript, and CGI tools and images. Project skills for site design, naming conventions creation, format development, and production release process procedures. Problem solving and project management skills a must.

• BSCS preferred or related technical degree
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Web or application development
• HTML,Javascript, CGI,UNIX, UI and graphics knowledge
• Programming in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java
• Perl, NT OS experience preferred

Provides the integration of complex Internet / Intranet solutions. Integrates standard and custom software into customer solutions, tests the solutions against functional requirements including strategic, logistical, operational and financial parameters.
Works to develop functional requirements, strategic development plans, implementation (rollout) plans and other information to define Internet / Intranet integration objectives. Work internally and with subcontractors to coordinate and fulfill Internet / Intranet integration projects from concept through testing and rollout in accordance with project budget and schedule. Participates in developing existing client opportunities and marketing strategies.

Specific expertise regarding Internet and Intranet solutions and experience with various platforms (via the Netscape Suite Spot and Enterprise Server and Microsoft's Internet Information Server) is a must, along with the ability to design front end applications for interaction with DB2, SQL and ODBC. Requires comprehensive understanding of business issues and objectives, ability to incorporate business modeling into solutions, plus experience defining project requirements and objectives, compiling development and integration plans, and performing/managing the fulfillment of such plans. Requires similar depth of knowledge regarding network technologies and infrastructures, system platforms, network operating systems, LAN and WAN architectures, and associated network software management.

Develop and coordinate existing copy for our sites.

Establish and drive vision for dynamic, timely editorial content for Web site. Schedule, assign, and edit content including product information, news and feature stories and special projects. Develop team of in- house and freelance writers. Establish editorial guidelines and consistent editorial voice. Conceptualize interactive games, product give-aways and other strategies to increase site traffic. Work closely with Creative Director and Production Editor to implement timely, cutting edge Web content.

Requires a BA in journalism or related filed, and 7+ years experience. Seasoned editor, with Web editing experience, and a track record for managing content for creative publication. Must be organized and flexible with ability to set goals for cross-departmental projects and meet aggressive deadlines. Experience with HTML preferred. Visual thinker a plus.
